Water infused with ginger, mint, & lemon

Ingredients

Method

  • Boil a cup or so of water.
  • While the water boils, peel and thinly slice the ginger. Rinse and then pluck your mint to get as many leaves as you need, and finely chop your mint leaves
  • In a heat-proof mug or container, pour the cup of boiling water over the mint and ginger. Cover it and let it steep for at least 15 minutes. You can leave it for a while if you'd like!
  • Let things cool a bit, shake with ice and more water, and add in the lemon juice and maple syrup. You can also avoid adding the water, ice, lemon juice, and maple syrup, and just keep your ginger-mint-infused-water in the fridge until you want to shake up a drink!

Notes

  • Have tried this a few times now, it's very tasty, and seems to soothe my stomach a lil bit!
