Ingredients

Method

  • Drop all the ingredients in your rice cooker
  • Cook on the "Porridge" setting. I find this usually takes around 90 minutes.
  • Let cool. Great fresh, but also great reheated. I reheat a small amount at a time, and add about a tablespoon of soy milk and a tablespoon of water to get the consistency I like.

Notes

  • Uses the "Porridge" setting on my rice cooker. I think stovetop you'd have to babysit and stir it for like 90 minutes or whatever. I'm lazy so I'm probably always going to make this with my rice cooker. Maybe one day I'll find the motivation to test out and write up stovetop instructions.
