Sourdough Croutons

Ingredients

  • 150 grams sourdough

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 0.25 tsp salt

Method

  • If bread is really stale, toss with some water first to get the moisture a little more evened out.
  • Toss bread in olive oil. Top with salt. Could also add spices, pepper is a great start.
  • Bake at 400 F for about 10 minutes. Check often though, they burn quick. Take em out just before they look perfectly golden - they'll crunch up a bit, and even brown a little bit more, as they cool down.

Notes

  • Great with soups!
