Chickpeas, Roasted

Ingredients

  • Chickpeas, cooked

  • Olive oil

  • Aalt

  • OPTIONAL

  • Some herbs and spices, nutritional yeast would probably work too

Method

  • Preheat oven to 400 F
  • Dry the chickpeas as much as you can, pat them.
  • Spread the chickpeas out on the pan. If you have time, leave them to air-dry for a couple of minutes.
  • Drizzle olive oil and sprinkle salt onto the chickpeas on the pan. Toss together.
  • Roast, stirring every 10 minutes. Chickpeas might pop. Usually takes 20-30 minutes.
  • Toss the cooked chickpeas with spices, if you want.
  • Serve

Notes

  • They get less crispy as they cool, but they're great either way.
